Winnie: What's wrong with it? It's not really poisoned is it? *worried about him*

Miles: *nods* Exactly.

Mer: *asleep*

Jesse: Once you drink it, you can't die.

Anna: If only there was a way to hide it.

Kat:*asleep*

Winnie: Alright now you've lost me. *hugging his neck* I keep hearing that death is inevitable. That you are going to die no matter what you do to stop it. Well. Thats what my mother says.

Miles: *nods* Well maybe he doesn't know where in the woods it is. But he'd stop at nothing to get to it. Which is what I'm worried about.

Mer: *asleep*

Jesse: It's the spring, Winnie. We all drank from it, even the horse. I fell out of a tree, but got back up before ma had a chance to work up a good cry. Then, pa got bit by a rattle snake and he didn't die. Some hunters mistook Ma's horse for a deer but nothing happened. Barely even left a mark. The only one who didn't drink from the spring was the cat and he died from old age.

Winnie; Yeah. I was outside at night and he came up to the fence and we talked a bit, he was looking for a family named Tuck. I can only imagine it to be you. He didn't say why but then he whistled the song Mae's music box plays. I recognized it from when I've heard it at night and then when Mae played it. He said he liked the woods. And then he started talking about hunting. He was strange...

Jesse: Stay away from him. He's after the spring.

Anna: *thinks*

Kat:*sleeps*

Winnie: Don't have to worry about that. He creeps me out. Plus. Mother and father are sending me away probably as soon as I get back.

WInnie:*looking at his chest, one hand tracing soft patterns* They believe I do not have adequate manners so they are sending me 500 miles away to a school for girls that is pretty much jail. So I've heard. I do not have any say in the matter as they won't listen to me anyway.

Miles: Me neither.
