Merlin: *nods*

Melody: *gets her tail free* Jesse, go!

Shark: *snaps at her again and grabs her tail again and throws her*

Melody: *lands on a rock and falls off it tail broken*

Gaius:*tries to help Elaine*

Jesse:*swats the shark in the nose with his tail, making it go away*

Merlin: *worried*

Shark: *swims away*

Melody: *can't swim struggling tail broken tries to force her tail to move*

Gaius:*works*

Jesse:*helps her*

Merlin: *worried*

Melody: *lets him*

Gaius; She's pregnant...This isn't good Merlin. You're going to have to choose. Her or the baby. her body isn't strong enough right now to support both. Even with the proper medicine. I can give her medicine which will give her the strength to carry the child to term but she will only be an incubator.

Jesse:*helps*

Merlin: Her.

Melody: Ow...

Gaius:*nods* I'm sorry about your baby Merlin.

Jesse: Just stop trying to move.

Merlin: *nods*

Melody: That's kind of hard when your a mermaid, but you can't move your tail.

Gaius:*goes to get the medicine that will kill the baby*

Elaine:*groans weakly*

Jesse:*nods*

Merlin: *holds her hand*

Melody: *groans*

Elaine:*weak, but wakes up* M-Merlin.....

Gaius:*comes back with the medicine* *looks at Merlin asking if he would like to tell her or if he should.* *first he being Merlin, second being Gaius*

Jesse:*swims her to shore where no humans are and dries her off*

Merlin: *looks at him like you* I'm here.

Melody: Thanks. *turns back into human*

Elaine:*confused* M-Merlin...w-what..going..on?

Gaius: Elaine. I have some bad news for you. Okay. I need you to stay calm though, alright? Merlin's here. He's right here for you.

Jesse: No problem. *changes back*

Merlin: I'm here.

Melody: I hate sharks.

Elaine:*nervous*

Gaius: Elaine you're pregnant.

Elaine:*looks at her stomach weakly* *loves her baby despite its father* H-How is t-that b-bad?

Jesse: me too.

Merlin: *squeezes her hand*

Melody: *moves up against a rock ignoring the pain it brings*

Elaine:*puts a hand on her belly* G-Gaius? W-What's wrong with my baby?

Gaius: Elaine. Your body isn't strong enough to carry the child to term. You'll die in a matter of months even weeks if you continue to carry it. I've asked Merlin his opinion and he said that he'd rather save you. Elaine. This medicine will kill your baby.

Elaine:*pales* N-No...I'm not taking that.

Jesse:*calls 911 and explains* Hello? My friend. She was attacked by a shark while we were swimming. Please help.

Merlin: Elaine, I can't lose you again.

Melody: *looks at him and tries to listen*

Elaine: T-This is my baby Merlin...Her father may be evil, cruel, and power crazed but that doesn't mean she deserves to die! *tears falling, her hand over her stomach protectively* I-I'm not k-killing m-my baby...Merlin I love you. So much. But I love this baby too.

Jesse:*hangs up*

Merlin: I love you too.

Melody: Thanks.

Gaius: Her?

Elaine: I don't know. I feel it's a girl. I hardly had morning sickness with Emrys. and Katherine gave me bad morning sickness...better than this though. *weakly laying on the couch* I won't take that medicine Gaius. I'm not going to kill my baby.

Jesse: no problem

Merlin: Elaine...

Melody: *winces*

Elaine: What Merlin?

Jesse: just hold still

Merlin: I can't lose you, not again.
