Markl: I've never seen him like this.

Howl:*thinking*

Soph: I don't know what happened...all I know is that Ms. Sulliman took him to another room.

Markl: A demon stole his heart when he was a boy and ever since he's not been the same. You've seen how he turns into a giant bird. He's always looking for a way to break his curse but he can't. Ms. Sulliman knows how but she won't tell him.

Howl:*lost in thought*

Cal: *knows how also*

Soph: *looks at Cal and flashes back to all the times he's hinted stuff*

Markl: Cal's a fire demon. That's the reason he can talk. Him and Howl have been close since I can remember. They're always together unless Howl has to do something.

Howl:*lost in thought*

Soph: *nods*

Markl: *watches Howl*

Soph: *worried*

Markl:*stares into space*

Howl: *watches the sky*

Cal: *eating*

Soph: *worried*
